dragonsdofly: We do have the allstays app. We got that when we were up in Quebec last summer and we have really learned to rely on it. The walmart stays are really big up in Canada but we haven't tried one yet. I think when we get out to Arizona and New Mexico we will try out some of the BLM areas. That is a great idea, thank you. I don't know about Cabelas though. If I stay there it might cost me more than if I went to a campground if you know what I mean. Thanks for all the great advice. See you on the road.....
Thanks Stevie. I don't think one or two night limits would be a problem since we're going to be on the move most of the time anyway. We're planning on six weeks for our trip. Not quite sure what the return route will be but like you said, meandering is half the fun. Thanks again for the advice..
I washed and waxed out T@B within the first month that we owned it. I wash it after each trip when we return home. That's about it but when we camped in Maine under some oak trees this past fall where it got covered with some kind of tree sap, I was very happy I had waxed it. I'm not sure how well it could have been cleaned without the wax.
I just had a similar thing happen. I couldn't get the fitting to attach tightly and I looked down and found the "O" ring laying on the ground. After re installing it the fitting worked fine. Problem solved.
